'Hearts Galore!'

Good Evening Everyone!

I have a Ta - Dah for you! Yes this is our 136th 'SIBOL' Blanket and this one is made with Luna's Heart Pattern. If you would like to try making a Heart Square please email me for the 'Heart Diagram'. I am making a second Blanket and I still need Squares! The Challenge is called 'One Heart From Around The World!'.

Thank you Luna for submitting this Diagram for one of our Challenges. I am most grateful to you.

Each and every one of these Squares have been made beautifully and the colours are so good together.

WHAT A NICE BLANKET YOU MADE FROM AL THE BEAUTIFUL HEARTS.
I CAN SEE MY TWO GRANNY, WHAT NICE TO SEE THE RESULT.

Hi, I'm Sue
56, Married with twin Daughters.
I live in the UK.

I'm making 'Sunshine International Blankets of Love' For the Elderly'.
(see 28th Feb post) In Memory of my Grandmother, with the help of my on-line friends.
Would you like to help me?

I'm asking for 6" x 6" (15cms x 15cms) Knitted or Crocheted Squares.
Any Design, Any Colour, Straight Edge please.
Acrylic if possible (or whatever you have in your stash!)
No deadline, no panic,no rush.

All 'Sunshine Blankets' will be donated to Nursing Homes in the UK.

The Lost Stash by Sally 'Chunky Hooker'.

Whilst rummaging in the scrap cupboard, I heard a plaintive cry " She never looks in our little bag, Can you tell me why? " A voice replied, "We're old and tatty, A little bit worn out, Our colours dull, our fibres matted, Now don't give me that pout!" "But I want to be a 'Sibolette', I really, really do! To be part of a Sibol, Made by the lovely Sue. It's my destiny, my dream, my fate!" The voice was getting higher, "I may be old but it's never too late, I'm not ready to retire". "Oh gosh", I thought, That sounds like me, Slightly worn, with a dodgy knee. So I'm off to college, A Diploma to gain And the voices of the Lost Stash? "Sibolettes" they became!
