Good Afternoon Everyone!
Thank you for visiting SIBOL today!
I am so pleased to be showcasing some Olympic Squares which have arrived here today. They are from joyce28 here in the UK. These Olympic Squares are just amazing! Sorry I keep using that word. But they are!
joyce28 comes up with some fabulous ideas and amongst her Olympic Squares she has made some Squares with London in mind, which I think is a brilliant idea.
So let's hop on that Bus and go to the Olympics! Tickets please! :)
Let's have a look at some of the Olympic Sports, we have Table Tennis and Archery!
We also have Paralympic Sports Archery and Fencing.
joyce28 has also made the Paralympic Flag! Another good idea.
A few days ago I asked if anyone wanted to make Letters for our Olympic Blanket. We are going to try and do a centrepiece O L Y M P I C S L O N D O N 2 012.
joyce28 has decided to make the '2' in 2012. It's turned out beautifully!
If you would like to make a 6" Square Crocheted or Knitted with a Letter on, please follow the link over to Ravelry.
Now it's time for some Sight-Seeing, off we go again!
What brilliant Squares! Changing the Guards at Buckingham Palace, London Underground and of course our London Bus!
What fun! Would you like to make a Square for the Olympic Blanket? Please follow the link over to SIBOL CHALLENGES and read all about our Challenge.
joyce28, your Square donation for SIBOL has once again been so inspiring! Thank you so much for everything you put into these gorgeous Squares. I'm not a Knitter, but I imagine you have to work everything out on paper before even picking up your Knitting Needles. I just wouldn't have a clue where to start with something like this!
I can never thank you enough for your hard work on behalf of SIBOL!
I would like to say that we are having a SIBOL Giveaway over on Ravelry. If you have sent me a Square you are eligible to enter. So please follow the link.
If you are interested in joining our SIBOL SWAP Group on Rav once again follow the link. The Ladies are swapping beautiful Squares and gifts. Why not join in the fun?
I've had a few new enquiries this week about our Group which is nice. It's always a pleasure to meet new Ladies and if anyone wants to join us. Please email me Sue on firstname.lastname@example.org
I think that's all for now. If you want to check out our SIBOL Ravelry Group please do.
This SIBOL website is changing all the time so please go back to previous posts I wouldn't want you to miss anything.
Bye for now and thank you!
