Thank You!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! I've been busy catching up with my mail today. I got up at 7.00am especially.

I thought you would all like to see this beautiful card that Maxine at 'The Willows' gave me as I was leaving.
It was very nice of her. Of course it would be for everyone who has contributed to 'SIBOL!'.

I hope you are all having a good Sunday! Bye for now...

Good Morning everyone ! I'm alive and visiting today.Just to greet all of you and wish you a very nice week a blessed Sunday .Thanks to Mrs. Sue for all work she has done with the Sibol and the elderly.I'm very happy and proud of you Mrs. Sue .Thanks , hugs and blessings to you and your family.

Thank you so much for your visit to The Willows and I am sorry I wasn't on duty to be able to meet you. The blankets are beautiful!!!! Thank you ladies all over the world and please keep up the good work as these blankets will be much appreciated in many nursing homes up and down the UK. I will put a photo on my blog along with a link in due course, i haven't had time to photograph them yet!!

Hi, I'm Sue
56, Married with twin Daughters.
I live in the UK.

I'm making 'Sunshine International Blankets of Love' For the Elderly'.
(see 28th Feb post) In Memory of my Grandmother, with the help of my on-line friends.
Would you like to help me?

I'm asking for 6" x 6" (15cms x 15cms) Knitted or Crocheted Squares.
Any Design, Any Colour, Straight Edge please.
Acrylic if possible (or whatever you have in your stash!)
No deadline, no panic,no rush.

All 'Sunshine Blankets' will be donated to Nursing Homes in the UK.

The Lost Stash by Sally 'Chunky Hooker'.

Whilst rummaging in the scrap cupboard, I heard a plaintive cry " She never looks in our little bag, Can you tell me why? " A voice replied, "We're old and tatty, A little bit worn out, Our colours dull, our fibres matted, Now don't give me that pout!" "But I want to be a 'Sibolette', I really, really do! To be part of a Sibol, Made by the lovely Sue. It's my destiny, my dream, my fate!" The voice was getting higher, "I may be old but it's never too late, I'm not ready to retire". "Oh gosh", I thought, That sounds like me, Slightly worn, with a dodgy knee. So I'm off to college, A Diploma to gain And the voices of the Lost Stash? "Sibolettes" they became!
